Jonathan Frank, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Goodlife Physical Medicine, serving people at three convenient Los Angeles locations in Redondo Beach, El Segundo, and Torrance, California.
Dr. Frank was born and raised in Southern California. He began his professional pursuits at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), earning his undergraduate degree in history as well as cell, molecular, and developmental biology.
Following graduation, Dr. Frank joined the team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served as a researcher in the Department of Neurology. He subsequently enrolled at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and earned his medical degree.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Frank completed a residency in orthopedics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. There, he cared for athletes on professional teams, including the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls. Afterward, he completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Frank specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the joints. When he isn’t meeting with patients, Dr. Frank regularly contributes to scientific journals and publications. In addition, he enjoys speaking at conferences and mentoring up-and-coming professionals in the field.
Outside of work, Dr. Frank lives an active lifestyle. He’s an avid hiker, tennis player, and stand-up paddleboarder.
